Day 01: Arrival in Manali

Arrival from Delhi/Chandigarh by Bus/Flight (At own cost) and check in at a hotel in Manali for dinner and overnight. (No transportation)

Day 02: Manali – Jispa

Early morning drive to Jispa, driving across Atul tunnel and passing through Sissu and Darcha and then Crossing. Overnight in fixed camp/Hotel at Jispa for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Jispa – Leh (255 Km)

After early breakfast leave for Leh en route crossing Nakeela and Lachalung-la Pass (16,617 ft.). Baralacha Pass (16020 ft) to arrive at Serchu in the late afternoon Break for lunch at Pang and then drive on towards Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (a vast plateau stretching for 42 kms) and then crossing Taglang-La (17,585ft) and driving through the upper Indus Valley. Reach Leh by evening. Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight.

Day 04: Leh monastery tours

After morning breakfast visit the most important monasteries of Ladakh -Thiksey Gompa and Shey Palace. we visit the superbly situated, 16th century, Thiksey Gompa, which is perched on a hilltop. Last stop is the ruined Shey Palace, once the summer palace of the pre-Tibetan kings. The palace monastery houses a large, bronze, blue-haired Buddha statue. we continued to visit Stok Palace Museum. Back to Leh Hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 05: Leh-Nubra Valley (Via Khardongla Pass)

Morning Drive to Nubra Valley over the Khardung la, (18300feet) highest motorable road in the World. The view from the top of the passes is amazing. One can see all the way south over the Indus Valley to the seemingly endless peaks. After exploring we drive toward the down Hunder past an area of rolling sand dunes, one can see a double hump Camel and visitors can take a camel safari dune at Hundar. On the way can visit Diskit monastery and Maitre Buddha statue, Dinner, and overnight in Nubra valley.

Day 06: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok

After breakfast, at the hotel, we drive to the next destination Pangong Lake via Shyok and onto Tangtse and Spangmik (Pangong). It’s a short cut and it’s a beautiful route. The road follows the Shyok River and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village. It took us less than an hour to reach Shayok, and we were delighted at the sight of the rather big village surrounded by barren mountains, the entire setting is very picturesque. Afternoon we reach Pangong Lake and enjoy your day at Pangong Lake. Overnight.

Day 07: Pangong lake – leh (Via Changla Pass)

In the early morning, you can enjoy a photo session around the lake. Post breakfast drive to Leh via Changla pass you will reach Leh by noon. In the afternoon, enjoy a shopping tour of the local markets of Leh. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Leh –Kargil (220kms.)

After breakfast you drive downstream along the River Indus on Leh Kargil Highway on the way can visit the Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara (Pather sahib) Sangam and Lamayuru moorland escape Fatu-la [13,489 ft] which is the highest pass on Srinagar Leh Road. Namkila pass Upon arrival in Kargil we check in at our camp / Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Kargil-Sonamarg-Srinagar (205kms)
